Assemble is proud to work alongside National Australia Bank (NAB), one of Australia’s largest banks and a values-aligned partner which is supporting the delivery of well-designed housing in locations where it's needed and where people want to live.
Housing affordability is Australia’s biggest policy and societal challenge. It’s critical we address the supply issue, just as much as demand. Assemble is a fantastic example of an organisation providing affordable homes where people want to live, in inner-city Melbourne.
NAB CEO Andrew Irvine
Across Assemble’s portfolio, NAB has financed the delivery of 1,200 homes, including three inner-city Melbourne projects currently under construction and due for completion in 2026. In December 2025, NAB CEO Andrew Irvine joined the team on site at 342 Victoria Street, Brunswick to inspect the progress being made in delivering this 284-apartment project.
NAB's broader work in the housing space, and particularly the recent announcement of their $60 billion National Affordability Financing Ambition is exactly the kind of action needed to make a meaningful contribution to addressing the housing crisis.
Assemble CEO Carolyn Viney
Through values-aligned, long-term partnerships with financial institutions such as NAB, Assemble continues to advance housing investment opportunities that deliver sustainable returns for investor clients while contributing to improved housing outcomes for more Australians.
