Celebrating from the ground floor and up to the shared rooftop, we recently held a housewarming event with our residents at 15 Thompson Street in Kensington.
To begin the evening, we gathered in the internal park for a Smoking Ceremony led by Wurundjeri man Colin Hunter Jnr. After speaking to significance and history of the Wurundjeri lands on where the project is located, Colin invited everyone to walk through and cleanse themselves with the smoke of Wurun leaves to promote protection and well-being upon these lands.
Following the ceremony, the celebrations continued up on the rooftop where our Managing Director Kris Daff and Head of Operations Nicola Fawl spoke about the efforts to ready the building for move-in and seeing the community evolve over the past few weeks.
It’s been incredibly rewarding to see such a successful transition of our residents moving into their homes and the way they’ve embraced the project, the shared spaces and each other in such a short space of time

Overlooking city views from the shared rooftop, residents met for the first time over pizzas made in their rooftop wood-fired oven and nibbles from our cafe Cassette. We also enjoyed local refreshments from Nubilum Distillery and Bonehead Brewing who are neighbours to the project and who hand-delivered supplies from just down the road.
Step inside our recently completed project and find out more about the available homes at our 15 Thompson Street webpage.
We’ll send you the floorplans you’re looking for, invite you in to experience our projects firsthand, and let you know when new projects are released.
