Paul Axup is Assemble’s Group Chief Financial Officer since 2026 and brings more than 25 years of financial and operational leadership experience, with deep expertise in financial operations and strategy, performance management, growth and business transformation.
As Assemble’s Group Chief Financial Officer, Paul oversees the business’s financial strategy, capital structuring, treasury, governance and risk management, company secretarial, IT and reporting. Paul’s experience includes Chief Operating Officer at the University of Melbourne and prior to that various Chief Financial Officer and other executive roles in both public and private organisations in Australia and the United Kingdom including Programmed, Aurecon, Lendlease and PwC.
