Andrew Major

Andrew Major is a Non-Executive Director of the Assemble Board and has served since 2025.
Andrew brings nearly 30 years of national and international experience across investment banking, investment management, enterprise risk and regulatory engagement. After over 16 years at HESTA in senior investment and strategic roles, Andrew now serves as the Chief Investment Officer at Australian Unity, a member-owned wellbeing company, overseeing investment strategy and portfolio management across the Wealth and Capital Markets division. Earlier in his career, Andrew held director roles with ISPT Pty Ltd and the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees and served as Chair of the Australian Investment Council.
