Jess works as the Sous Chef at our zero food-waste café, Cassette.

She joined us in 2022 after previous experience as a Home Economist for Masterchef Australia. Jess is passionate about food education and has taught Food Studies at a secondary school. She applies these skills to create recipes for Cassette, allowing local seasonal food to stand out and making the most of every ingredient used. She has a Master of Teaching (secondary) from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Food Science and Nutrition (honours) from Deakin University.
